Charlotte Dwyer is Director of Scotdec and brings over 20 years of experience in education and Global Citizenship. She started her career as an English teacher in London and Sri Lanka, later working with the Ministry of Education in Eritrea through VSO to support teacher training and curriculum development. At Scotdec, Charlotte leads on strategy, funding, and advocacy, while delivering professional learning to help educators embed Global Citizenship in early years and school settings. She also serves as a trustee for SIDA, co-chairs the Global Citizenship Education Committee, and sits on the board of the Anti-Racist Education Programme in Scotland.
