Dr Magdalena Śliwińska, PhD is an Associate Professor at the Institute of International Business and Economics, Poznan University of Economics and Business (PUEB). Her research focuses on European economic integration, EU competition and trade policies, and sustainable markets, particularly Fair Trade. She is the author of numerous research papers and books, including Fair Trade and Sustainable Development. Dispersed Hybrid Markets (Routledge, 2024). Magdalena actively engages students through the Student Sustainable Business Chapter and contributes to public discourse via national newspapers, radio, and press interviews. She is a member of the Polish Economic Society, EIBA, Evaluation Committee of EU Cities for Fair and Ethical Trade Award 2021, granted by the European Commission and International Trade Centre and she is a member of the Board of Directors of Fair-Trade Advocacy Office.
